As we know you have worked as a photographer since high school. Who were your early influences?
When Anthony was 16, he got his first camera. “At that time, I was attending West Side High School in Newark, New Jersey. I shot my first fashion show there. Inspired by the atmosphere and my work, I became more and more interested in Fashion Photography”.
How has photography transformed you as a human being? What are some of the key differences that you have identified in yourself before and after you began taking photographs?
I explore a lot most of my ideas for shoots come from just walking threw a trail in a park. I see things with a camera “I explore a lot! Finding mistakes, shooting with a blur – everything takes practice. I always challenge myself to get the best quality”.
At what point did you realize that photography is what you wanted to do as a career?
“Being able to work with stylists&models. I like cooperating with people to express my thoughts in a shoot”
Anthony describes his photography style in three words – inspiring, entertaining, with graphics. He’s trying to compare photos based on how he views things in life.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
“I get a lot of creative ideas from movies&magazines”.
What has been your favorite photo location?
Skate Park in Newark, New Jersey. Locals called it Shorties. Most of the photographer’s favorite shoots took place there.
What are your TOP-5 tips from the field that you can share to help aspiring photographers improve their work?
” When I started taking pictures, the first thing I did was – research. I had to understand what I was shooting. I would go outside and practice with an object, a person in different places, and different lighting conditions. Getting different people to input is good when you first start. Now you can go back to your photos, see what happened and what is worth working on. I had problems with dark photos when I first started out. Taking pictures outdoors helped me to deal with that”.
What projects are you working on now?
Anthony working on an Old Roadway Alleyway Shoot in Newark. He describes his idea: “I want to play with a lot of lighting for this shoot, try some RGB lighting to add some effects”.

“I’m building a resume for commercial shooting for different companies like Nike. I’m looking forward to working with designers & much more “.

“I’m hard working. I take pride in everything I do. Whether I’m editing pictures or taking them. I always find ways to make it even better”.
