The world-famous IMG modeling agency IMG and a large number of famous New York designers have teamed up to create the Fashion Alliance. The new project is going to be “NYFW’s new cornerstone”.
Leslie Russo, President of Fashion Events and Real Estate at IMG, said that the Fashion Alliance will include the following popular designers and fashion houses: Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, Jason Wu, LaQuan Smith, Markarian, Monse, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Sergio Hudson, and Telfar.
The main goal of the project is to support designers, to keep them motivated and organized, and to choose New York as the ultimate location of Fashion Week. The Fashion Alliance will provide investments that will support the production of the collections.
New York Fashion Week is known to be the industry’s number one revenue-generating event, so now it’s time to create a group of amazing American designers led by IMG to demonstrate a commitment to New York revival, where America’s fashion industry is based.
