Italian brand Fendi has revealed the Vertigo summer collection, created in collaboration with New York-based artist Sarah Coleman. She was inspired by the psychedelic aesthetics of the 1970s.
“Sarah has a wonderful sense of artistic fun and irony. Her works attracted me in a completely natural way, and we first tried to work together as part of our boutique in the design district of Miami during the Design Miami exhibition last December, – Silvia Venturini Fendi told WWD earlier.
“We are always happy to partner with new designers who share Fendi’s values but also have their own vision and style.”
The collaboration includes tops, shirts, dresses, skirts, jackets, sneakers and bags with the signature Fendi logo in the form of two F. Coleman redesigned it, making it seem mobile and twisting on fashion items.
