After more than a year after switching to virtual shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Italian fashion house Armani on Thursday announced the return of physical shows with live audiences, starting with its spring/summer men’s collection next month. On June 21, Milan will host the Giorgio Armani fashion show, and on July 6, the Giorgio Armani Prive fashion show will take place at the Italian Embassy as part of the Paris Haute Couture fashion show.
The brand decided to return to live shows after the health status of the population improved. However, the organizers warn that plans may change depending on the number of people infected with coronavirus in the future.
Armani is the first major Italian brand that announced the revival of live shows. The same brand was the first to close them in February 2020 when the coronavirus first swept Italy.
