Netflix provided the first footage of the drama series about the 1970s icon, American fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick. The pictures illustrate Ewan McGregor’s transformation into Halston.
In a series of photographs, you can see the actor creating a fashion sketch. Behind him is a cork board with lots of other sketches of the future collection. In another picture, McGregor, with rolls of fabric behind his back, is talking on the phone in one of Holston’s signature turtlenecks.
Halston premiered on May 14 and is co-produced by Glee creator Ryan Murphy. Netflix also released images of McGregor’s co-stars Christa Rodriguez, Rory Culkin and Rebecca Dayan playing Liza Minnelli, director Joel Schumacher and designer at Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti, respectively.
