You started your career as a choreographer and artistic director at a very young age. Can you share with us how this journey began and what inspired you to move into the world of influencer marketing?

I have always dreamed of achieving the impossible: impossible dance moves, dreamlike projects, and working with the biggest names in the industry. This mantra helped me evolve as a choreographer and artistic director. Collaborating with incredibly talented individuals sparked my interest in the broader spectrum of creative arts. As social media rose, I recognized its potential for personal branding and global storytelling. The shift to influencer marketing was a natural progression, combining my love for creativity with digital engagement strategies. My main goal was always to stay authentic.

You’ve collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as INNA, Lil Wayne, Fifth Harmony, Sheryl Murakami, and Nika Kljun. What were some of the most memorable experiences that impacted you?

Attending dance and art schools, such as Broadway Dance Center in New York, was a blessing and helped shape the artist I wanted to become. It opened my horizons to understand the international stage and perform at my highest level. Collaborating with INNA was a highlight; our synergy led to groundbreaking performances. With Lil Wayne, it was about embracing his unique style and energy, creating a fusion of hip-hop and dance. Working with Fifth Harmony taught me the dynamics of girl groups and the importance of harmony on and off stage. Each project brought invaluable lessons in creativity, adaptability, and artistic expression.

As both a judge and contestant on numerous TV shows, including winning Romania’s Got Talent, how have these experiences shaped your career and personal growth?

Winning Romania’s Got Talent was a pivotal moment, boosting my visibility and reinforcing my belief in perseverance and authenticity. It naturally led me to perform at America’s Got Talent: The Champions edition in LA. These experiences allowed me to showcase my talent to a global audience while representing Romania. Serving as a judge on various TV shows has been transformative, offering a platform to mentor emerging talents and give back. These experiences have honed my ability to assess potential, provide constructive feedback, and appreciate diverse art forms. They’ve also taught me humility, continuous learning, and the importance of community.

You’ve transitioned from being Romania’s most recognized dancer to a successful businessman. What motivated you to start your own company, and how has it evolved over the years?

The supportive community around my artistic journey empowered me to express myself authentically, which resonated with the brands I worked with. This led to a natural progression into entrepreneurship, driven by a desire to expand my impact beyond individual performances. Starting my own agency allowed me to merge artistic insights with business needs, providing comprehensive solutions in choreography, artistic direction, and influencer marketing. Over the years, the company has grown, adapting to industry trends and expanding its services to a global clientele. It’s been a journey of constant innovation and adaptation.

Now that you are stepping into the corporate entertainment world as Head of Influencer Marketing at UNTOLD Festival, how has your role changed, and what new challenges have you faced?

Stepping into this role has been an exciting new chapter. Leading a team has emphasized the importance of teamwork and fostering creativity. My responsibilities now include strategic planning, influencer partnerships, and overseeing the festival’s digital presence. Working on such a large-scale event requires meticulous coordination and adaptability to fast-paced changes. These challenges are rewarding as they push me and my team to innovate and improve continuously.

You’re creating influencer marketing agencies in Romania and Dubai. What makes your approach to influencer marketing unique, and how do you select the influencers you work with?

Our approach blends creativity with authenticity. We focus on building genuine relationships between influencers and brands, ensuring collaborations resonate with audiences on a deeper level. Our selection process is meticulous; we look for influencers with a strong following who align with the brand’s values and mission. Our goal is to create visually compelling, meaningful, and impactful campaigns that can help communities and change lives.

With your extensive experience as an influencer, how do you ensure that your clients receive the best possible experience? Can you share any success stories?

We ensure the best experience through personalized strategies, continuous communication, and a deep understanding of our clients’ goals. Working with brands like LEVI’S and Nivea, we created content that resonated with their communities and ours, leading to mutual growth. These success stories highlight the power of authentic and strategic influencer marketing.

As the go-to person for brands worldwide in influencer marketing and online success, what strategies do you believe are crucial for brands looking to grow their online presence?

Building a strong online presence starts with content that resonates with your values and tells your brand’s story compellingly. Storytelling and engagement are key; it’s about interacting with your audience and fostering a sense of community. Consistency in posting and maintaining a cohesive brand image across platforms is vital. Leveraging data and analytics to understand what works and continuously refining your strategy is essential for sustained growth and success.

You have extensive knowledge of growing brands on social media platforms like TikTok. What advice would you give to emerging influencers and brands aiming to leverage TikTok for their growth?

Embrace creativity and authenticity. TikTok rewards originality and genuine content. Focus on creating engaging videos, use trending sounds and hashtags, and add your unique twist to stand out. Consistency is key; regular posting maintains engagement and grows your audience. Collaborate with influencers who align with your mission and values. Don’t be afraid to experiment and take risks; TikTok favors fresh and innovative content.

What’s next for Emil Rengle? Are there any upcoming projects or goals you’re particularly excited about that you can share with us?

The future holds many exciting prospects. I’m thrilled about launching our new influencer marketing agencies in Romania and Dubai, which will bring our unique approach to a broader audience. We’re working on several high-profile campaigns that aim to push creative boundaries. I’m also excited about continuing my work with UNTOLD Festival, exploring new ways to integrate technology and artistry. Additionally, I have a few personal creative projects in the pipeline and a special role in an upcoming movie project. The journey of learning and expanding continues to be beautiful and challenging, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
