How do you balance these different facets of your personality, and how does each aspect contribute to the overall narrative of who Mikael De Franceschi is as an artist and an individual?
I think each of these facets complements the other. They are simply different ways of expressing my art, my personality, and my history. Every step I take, every encounter I have, every project I carry out in the different artistic fields in which I am fortunate enough to work, are all aspects that build the artist and the individual that I am.
Reflecting on your journey, what specific experiences or moments led you to realize your passion for art and performance?
From an early age, I was drawing, singing, and making people laugh, without even being aware of my artistic potential. Over time, the repeated encouragement of those close to me made me realize the potential I had always had within me, and this encouraged me to explore and cultivate myself in this field.
Considering your diverse career, from beauty contests to international photo shoots, and now as an actor and model, how has your artistic journey evolved over time? Can you share a significant moment or project that had a profound impact on your growth as an artist?
Right from my early days in the art world, first as a model, I was lucky enough to meet some wonderful people who helped me build and develop. This opportunity gave me experience and confidence. These encounters enabled me to develop my profile as an influencer and then as an actor. All I’ve done is evolve and grow personally and artistically. A significant encounter in this field enabled me to make great progress in the three artistic fields in which I’m currently evolving. He’s someone I deeply admire for his professional and human qualities, and who has enabled me to achieve many of my goals. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by caring people who support me in my major objectives, and this is one of the driving forces behind my continued ascent.
Having worked on projects around the world, how has exposure to different cultures influenced your artistry? What motivated your recent move to Dubai, and how has it impacted your career?
I’ve always loved traveling, discovering new places and cultures. It’s fascinated me since I was very young. Every country, every region has something different to offer, both in terms of energy and artistic expression. This variety inspires me and contributes to my development as an artist. As far as Dubai is concerned, as soon as I set foot in the city, I felt a sense of well-being and positive energy that I hadn’t felt before. I’m deeply convinced that this city and the Gulf region have great things to offer me. The opportunities and diversity of this magnificent region made me decide to settle here permanently. I’m convinced that this region will enable me to develop myself and my career.
In the realm of social media, what role does it play in your creative process, and how do you use it to connect with your audience?
With these platforms, I’ve been able to build up a community over time that enables me to share and exchange quality content. This tool makes it possible to connect and meet a huge number of people in the artistic world. I’m convinced that this tool is indispensable to my career as an artist. I’ll be bringing my growing community new concepts soon, so stay tuned!
Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for the future as an actor, model, and influencer? Are there specific projects or goals you are particularly excited about in the coming years?
I have a strong desire to work with major brands and groups. To do this, I’ll be looking to work with more agencies in the Gulf region and around the world, and to grow and evolve my network further. I’m also keen to deepen my artistic talents in singing. I’m convinced I have something to contribute in this field.
For aspiring artists who admire your journey, what advice would you give them?
I’d tell them to listen to that inner voice that speaks to them and that the society we live in doesn’t necessarily teach us to listen to. I’d tell them to follow their instincts, because that’s where they should be, doing what they love that they’ll feel at the top. Never give up, and thank life if you’re turned down. It’s simply a sign to show them that it’s not the right door, and that another awaits them elsewhere. Above all, never give up and trust yourself! In short, it’s all about working on yourself. Know your strengths and weaknesses.
