From a young age, Naji Abukhassira felt an inner drive to push beyond limits and defy the ordinary. Refusing to settle for average, this mindset not only shaped his approach to fashion but also paved the way for his career across various creative fields.
Drawn to the creative space, Naji found his niche in event planning. The thrill of behind-the-scenes work, last-minute ideas, and the high-pressure environment provided the perfect setting for his ambition. His journey began when he joined an event organizing team, an experience that opened his eyes to countless opportunities and taught him that everyone has a unique talent just waiting to be unlocked.
Through this journey, Naji met people who encouraged him to think outside the box and embrace experimentation. Over the years, he’s gained experience in an array of fields, from photography, videography, and editing to construction, real estate, office work, programming, marketing, and even the music industry as a DJ. He explored technology, launched a YouTube channel, worked in product trading, held a sales manager position, and acquired a solid background in finance.
Then, during the COVID lockdown, Naji set his sights on the fashion industry. With a desire to achieve something meaningful, he thought, “Why not fashion?” Despite having no formal experience in the field, he began reaching out to brands, proposing collaborations, and teaching himself social media targeting. His persistence paid off when a watch brand offered him his first collaboration, followed soon after by a clothing brand. As his online presence grew, so did his opportunities, creating a community around his journey and evolving sense of style.
In addition to fashion, Naji expanded his influence by marketing shoots for restaurants, cafés, and other businesses. Today, he balances roles in event management, finance at the UAE’s largest dance academy, and his rising presence in fashion. Determined to deepen his impact, he views fashion as a lifestyle and a mindset – one that mirrors his life philosophy and approach to success.
